KidZ Nooz

Our KidZ are on a jungle adventure, “Faith Safari”, learning the lessons some of the faith of Scripture. This week Tookie bird visited to teach the children that “You toucan know Jesus” and come to salvation in HIM.  “you toucan!”…”Who can???”… “YOU can!”…

KidZ Club needs volunteers! Especially on the male security crew.

Aaannnnndddd, KidZ Club’s very own Rosie Tracy will be representing our state in the National Spelling Bee in June. Cheer her on!

The noozletter is baaacccckkk! And would love contributions from y’all….don’t be shy!

Actions that Take Courage (from the Sec’s book of lists)

Admitting you are wrong

Doing what is right when everyone else isn’t

Speaking to someone you don’t know (even at CHURCH!!)

Saying “no” when people are trying to get you to do something you know you shouldn’t

Telling the truth and accepting the consequences

Standing up for something you believe in even though it might mean rejection, ridicule or even physical harm.

Defending someone who is considered unpopular or unacceptable

Facing a limitation and giving it your very best regardless of pain or discomforts.

Big red toolbox tool of the week: Your feet…the song at KidZ Club says, “I walk…by faith…each step…by faith… Walking is a conscious action, choosing to move in one direction or another. You are in control of your feet…where they go, where to step. You can choose level paths or rocky ones, straight roads or crooked ones—all roads lead somewhere.  Let us be like the psalmist in PS 119, “I have run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free.” V 32.

“You alone are my strength, my shield,

to you alone may my spirit yield…We have to be careful about whom we allow to influence us, to whom we yield our spirits…

POINT TO PONDER:Fear is that little darkroom where negatives are developed.  HMMM.
